Washing Instructions for Printed and Unprinted Textiles
We want you to enjoy our products for a long time. Therefore, we ask you to carefully follow the washing instructions and the care and handling tips.
Washing Printed Textiles
- Wash inside out at a maximum of 30 degrees Celsius.
- Use mild detergent and avoid fabric softener.
- Do not tumble dry; instead, hang textiles to air dry.
- Never iron directly over the print. If the printed area needs to be ironed, always iron from the reverse side or place an unprinted cloth or baking paper as a protective layer between the print and the iron.
- Be aware that high temperatures can damage the print.
We do not recommend any specific detergent, but in our tests, we have always avoided fabric softener. The correct dosage of detergents depends on the individual water hardness. Printed textiles should also never come into contact with solvents.
Care Instructions for Other Products
- Printed ceramics, glass, and plastics should only be washed by hand.
- Printed products (e.g., pictures, canvases, calendars, signs, photo prints) should not be exposed to direct sunlight for extended periods, as the colors may fade. Not all products are treated with UV-protective varnish.
- Glued products (e.g., signs) are particularly sensitive at the edges and may detach from the print carrier there. Handle with care during transport and assembly. For assembly, we recommend cotton gloves, which you can purchase in our online shop.
- Adhesive films (e.g., wall decals, adhesive films of all kinds) should always be applied to clean surfaces. When applying, sufficient pressure must be exerted to firmly bond the film to the substrate. Since not all surfaces adhere perfectly, we recommend performing an adhesion test beforehand with the included film sections.
These tips will help you maintain the quality of our products in the long term.
